Knowledge of the environmental and economic issues of enrichment plantations of wood species of high commercial value in clearings is scarce in the literature, which creates uncertainty for decision makers about the effectiveness of the method. To contribute to this debate, this work aimed to evaluate technically and financially the enrichment of the planting of Swietenia macrophylla and Handroanthus serratifolius in clearings of exploitation of a managed forest in order to serve as a model in the recovery and increase of production of these species in cutting of future cycles.
